World Seniors gets underway

Tomorrow sees the start of the World Seniors Championship in Ostersund Sweden. England are represented by Team Topping – Guy Topping, Peter Topping, Peter Alexander, Chris Kerr and John Brown, and Team Harsch – Manon Harsch, Angela Wilcox, Helen Forbes and Debbie Higgins.

Both teams will be on the ice later this afternoon (Friday) for their pre-competition practice.

The serious business starts tomorrow and the full schedule for the teams is as follows (all times local times, 1 hour ahead of UK).

Saturday 2000 – Switzerland

Sunday 2000 – Latvia

Monday 1600 – Estonia

Tuesday 0800 – Belgium

Wednesday 1200 – USA

Team Harsch

Saturday 1200 – USA

Sunday 0800 – New Zealand

Monday 1600 – Scotland

Tuesday 2000 – Denmark

Wednesday 2000 – Australia

Play – off games are on Thursday through to Saturday.
